Sherborne Literary Society are pleased to invite Rachel Billington, author, journalist and President of the Society, to talk to its members and guests about her new and very personal book A Writer’s Story.

The talk will complement, and follow, the Annual General Meeting of the Society.

The AGM and talk are open and free to all Members (talk is £10 for non-Members) however Members are asked to register their attendance in advance by “buying” a ticket to help catering and seating capacity administration.

Rachel’s talk will commence at 2.15pm or as soon as the AGM has finished.

Rachel is the author of more than 30 novels, and some 40 books overall, published over 50 years. She was awarded the OBE in 2012 for Services to Literature and has enjoyed a fascinating literary and journalistic career.

A Writer's Story is a collection of her memories which offers insight into the art and nature of writing. We are so pleased to have such rich material to accompany our AGM, making it a very special event for our Members.

Talk hosted by The Gardens Group, Castle Gardens.
