What do you do when you’re banned from your own father’s funeral? Steal the body, of course!

‘Stealing Dad’ is a sharp and darkly funny novel about a large Bohemian family, spanning Athens, London and the Hebrides. In it, Sofka Zinovieff tells the story of a group of dysfunctional siblings who find themselves banned from their own father’s funeral and take matters into their own hands.
This, Sofka’s third novel, has been warmly praised by The Spectator, The Telegraph, The Literary Review and the Observer. Mary Portas says ‘‘I was completely absorbed from the beginning’ – and we think you will be too.

Sofka will be in conversation with Louise Troup on
