14 August: Rory MacLean shares a 'Geography of Heaven'

Sherborne's celebrated Festival curator and travel writer is back with another piece of exquisite writing.

On a damp afternoon in an English churchyard, a single sunbeam alights on a red rose. Yetminster's Rory MacLean is at the graveside of his beloved wife Katrin and for him the sunbeam is a sign. To write again, to live again, he needs ‘to do it with her’. This was the start of the journey that was to culminate in ‘Geography of Heaven’, a truly beautiful book about faith, life, death and love.

Follow Rory's journey by joining him for the Dorset launch. He'll be in conversation with Louise Troup and available to answer your questions, and sign your copies!

A glass of wine or soft drink is included in the ticket price.
